About the Role:

Dive into a dynamic position with a big energy company, where you’ll lead risk assessments, advise on portfolio management, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with cutting-edge ETRM systems, and be a key player in shaping the trajectory of energy markets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and advise on portfolio management strategies.
• Craft strategy papers for senior management and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management methodologies.
• Work with cutting-edge ETRM systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s approach to risk management.

Requirements:

• Around 8-10 of experience in energy and commodity trading.
• Expertise in risk management methods, including Value at Risk, Scenario Analysis, and Stress Testing.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of physical and financial wholesale energy markets.
• Familiarity with ETRM systems (e.g., Endur, Alegro, EOS) and strong IT skills (VBA, SQL, Python, R).
