Join us as a Wholesale Lending Business Analyst at Barclays where you’ll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You’ll harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionise our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as strong experience in a business analyst role with a focus on technology, engaging with complex stakeholder groups, knowledge of Wholesale Lending products including financial accounting, knowledge of Wholesale Lending systems including ACBS or Loan IQ, and skills using Microsoft packages including Teams or Visio, as well as job-specific technical skills. Additional knowledge of loan syndication or trading and experience of managing requirements in Jira and documentation in Confluence are highly valued. This role will be based out of our Knutsford campus.

Purpose of the Role

To support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Accountabilities

1. Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
2. Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
3. Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
4. Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
5. Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
6. Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
7. Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
8. Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
