Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their fiercely independent small animal practice full-time, starting this December. The perfect candidate will ideally have at least 2 years of experience and should be confident in handling routine consultations and surgical procedures independently.
Nestled on the charming Herts/Bucks border, our client is a close-knit, independently-run, small animal practice. Their journey began in 2008, and since then, they have earned the loyalty of a devoted client base. They are a dedicated team of 4 other vets and 3 RVNs who pride themselves on their friendly, family-like atmosphere. Just a short 10-minute drive from Hemel Hempstead, they offer the perfect blend of rural tranquillity and urban convenience. Hemel Hempstead’s lively town centre, with its major high street stores and local amenities, is easily accessible. Plus, the region boasts attractive property prices, making it an enticing place to live and work.
At the practice, they uphold RCVS accreditation and maintain high standards. They believe in forging lasting bonds with clients and their beloved pets, offering a personalised approach to care. With generous consultation slots, they ensure that each patient receives the attention they deserve. Their vets actively engage in both consultations and surgeries daily, fostering a collaborative, tight-knit team.
The practice is fully-equipped with cutting-edge technology including a fully-equipped operating theatre, X-ray, in-house laboratory, and dentistry facilities, among others. Accommodation is available if required; a separate 3-bedroom detached house with a sprawling garden and off-road parking.
