• Accommodation is available rent free and relocation package will be consideredAre you looking to join a very supportive team at a practice who have continued success and a growing caseload?A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, family run Veterinary Practice in Mansfield. This well-established practice is located in the market town of Mansfield right on the edge of stunning countryside with plenty of nature trails. It is perfect for relaxing walks with easy access to the woodland areas of Sherwood Forest. Close to the M1, the practice is easily commutable from surrounding areas.After 4 years, one of their team is moving on to pastures new and they are looking for a friendly, confident and committed Veterinary Surgeon to join the practice. They are a single-site, small animal first opinion practice with a very loyal client base. You will be working alongside 3 other very experienced vets and supported by an excellent team of nurses, receptionists, and a practice manager.
The practice has worked hard to build an excellent reputation in the area, and they have a real community feel of which the team are all very proud.You will have clinical independence and encouragement to follow cases through from start to finish. There will also be a flexible balance of consulting and operating, with a varied caseload (including many species of exotics if desired).The successful candidate will be highly motivated, confident, professional, kind and empathetic to both the clients and pets. You will need to have good communication skills and be either RCVS registered or have the requirements and eligibility to apply for this position in place if a work visa is required (sponsorship will be considered).The Rota:
• Full time or part time – 21 – 36-hour week over 3/4 days
• 1:4 Saturday’s (9am-2pm)
• No OOH
• No Bank HolidaysThe Benefits:
