An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Unit Leader to work in an exceptional care home based in the Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire area.You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This care home offers first class and compassionate residential, nursing, dementia and respite care.They also offer long term, respite residential and nursing care as well as residential dementia care and intermediate care** To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin** As the Unit Leader your key responsibilities include:

• To take responsibility for the safeguarding of adults, and follow the Trust’s whistle blowing policy as required
• To promote and maintain high standards of resident care and lead the care team and provide skilled care
• Work with the adjoining hospital to coordinate referrals and ensure continuance of care
• Include therapy teams and community teams in to treatment plans

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Minimum 2 years full-time or equivalent supervision of care staff and the care of older people in a residential care setting
• Be highly driven team motivator
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be dedicated to working in a person-centred way that enables our residents to live a dignified and fulfilled life
• An ability to connect with our residents

The successful Unit Leader will receive an excellent salary of £23.07 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £44,986.50 per annum.This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week working Mon-Fri from 8:30am-5:00pm.In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
