Responsibilities:
The System Support Officer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. This includes responding to queries, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining systems and networks to ensure smooth operations. The role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
- Set up user accounts and permissions.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues.
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
- Train users on new technologies and software applications.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry best practices.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects as required.
