About the Role:
- As a key member of the operating theatre team, you will provide continuous, competent, and dedicated assistance as a Surgical First Assistant under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout procedures.
- Responsibilities include meticulous management of equipment, instrumentation, and maintaining high standards within your designated specialty.
- When the SFA role is not required, you will seamlessly transition to act as a scrub nurse.
What You’ll Bring:
- Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
- Completion of a recognized Surgical First Assistant (SFA) course.
- Highly Desirable:
- Mentorship Qualification.
