Our client is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist to join an esteemed team at their school. By joining this dynamic team, you will have the chance to engage in training, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, and outreach programs.

About the Role:

  • Contract: Permanent, Part-time
  • Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time plus up to 3 weeks of work during school closure periods, to be used flexibly throughout the year)
  • Holiday: 10 weeks paid holiday
  • Salary: £34,347 to £37,821 per annum (dependent on experience, pay award pending)
  • Location: Surrey
  • VISA SPONSORSHIP: Available if needed

About The School: It is a non-maintained day and residential school catering to pupils aged between 4 – 11 years. The focus is on individuals with severe and complex Speech and/or Language Disorders, including high-functioning ASD, some of whom may also present with associated learning and/or behavioural difficulties.

Responsibilities: As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualised intervention programs for a defined caseload.

Requirements:

Active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). At least 2 years of experience in handling a pediatric caseload, preferably with a focus on severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs.
