Salary: £48,237 (UK), £52,482 (London & surrounding counties)

Job Introduction
This is a great time to consider your next career move and to work at GamCare. The public awareness of gambling harms is growing rapidly, and in response we are initiating and delivering several innovative projects.
This includes a gambling harms international development project, a gambling related financial harm project, and other projects are planned related to specific demographics.
We require a Senior Development Programme Manager to implement and oversee these projects and ensure that they are effective and coherent. The post-holder will line manage the managers of each project, and champion the projects at a strategic level across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and oversights, looking at how the different projects regularly and systematically can strengthen, grow, and be sustained.
- Project development, supporting implementation and development of new projects as they come on board.
- Management and development of staff, overseeing a team of project managers, co-ordinators, and officers across the different projects.
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders, establishing, and maintaining relationships with programme stakeholders.
- Reporting, monitoring and evaluation, being responsible for ensuring all reporting requirements for the Programme/projects are met.
- Quality assurance, overseeing various products and pieces of work produced by the projects (e.g., reports, research, insights, training, recommendations), and ensuring they are of high quality.
- Collaborating internally with the wider Development team to understand their products and projects in detail.
- Budget responsibility, planning, overseeing, and reporting on any spending from across the Programme and projects, and working with the finance department as necessary to do this.
The Ideal Candidate
This role will be overseeing a number of new projects – so being curious, strategic, and having great interpersonal skills will be a must. Overseeing several teams will require you to simultaneously manage several workstreams with competing interests and timelines, all while keeping in mind the organisation’s wider schemes of work. As such, excellent project management experience and agility will be necessary.
Finally, a passion and dedication to improving services for gambling harms will be key.
