**Days required to work Monday to Thursday**

Duties

– Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide appropriate dosage instructions
– Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
– Monitor patients’ medication therapy for effectiveness and potential adverse effects
– Provide counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and potential drug interactions
– Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication profiles and allergy information
– Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and optimize medication therapy outcomes

Skills

– Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff
– Ability to provide patient-centered care and address individual needs and concerns
– Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
– Familiarity with ICU (Intensive Care Unit) medications and protocols
– In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology to assess medication effectiveness and potential interactions
