Job summary
We are looking for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with significant experience of perinatal mental health to lead, manage and develop our team of clinical, counselling and assistant psychologists working in Maternal Mental Health (Maple Service) which is part of specialist perinatal mental health services (SPMHS) across the five boroughs of the North London Partnership .

You will join the senior leadership team in SPMHS and be part of a large psychology service across the five boroughs of the North London Mental Health Partnership. Main duties of the job
- The post holder will lead and manage psychological therapists working in Maple Service across the five boroughs of North London partnership. They will ensure delivery of high-quality evidence based psychological interventions.
- The post holder will be responsible for providing / ensuring clinical and management supervision to psychology staff in the Maple Service.
- The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the psychology team understand and operate to the requirements of the service’s operational policy and strategy and that safe, evidence based, NICE concordant, effective, culturally competent and trauma informed care is delivered in a timely manner to service users.
- The post holder will play a key strategic role in expanding and developing service provision in line with national guidelines and local priorities and they will actively contribute to the evaluation of clinical services through audit and governance.
- The post holder will be responsible for providing highly skilled psychological assessment and specialist intervention to highly complex clients of one of the Maternal Mental Health Teams and will be expected to offer advice, consultation and support to other teams as needed.
- The post holder will guide and support quality improvement, involvement in research and service and carer involvement / co-production.

- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology and current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council as a clinical psychologist or a counselling psychologist
- Completion of further post-qualification specialist training in areas of practice relevant to the post
