Job Details:
Salary: £70k – £100k
An exciting new position has arisen for a Product Owner / Project Leader with strong project management and leadership of embedded software projects to join one of the world’s best medical devices / medical diagnostics innovation and design companies, who are developing technology which is quite literally saving lives. You will use your expert software project management/product owners skills to plan, manage and drive forward complex software projects.

Hybrid working can be offered for the right candidate, although you will need to be able to commute to the Cambridge office two days a week.

Requirements of Project Manager – Software – Embedded* Excellent academic record with 1st or 2:1 degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
* Recent and relevant experience of Project Management and leadership of, Software Projects (ideally Embedded) across a range of sizes, durations and domains as part of a broader multidisciplinary team.
* Able to manage the full software engineering life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, and obtaining and managing resources.
* Facilitate project execution, deployment and closure.
* Excellent knowledge of different delivery methodologies such as Waterfall / Agile / Iterative and knowledge of how to apply them effectively.
* Able to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, directors, other project managers and the development teams
* Able to work across multiple projects, concurrently and as required.
* Excellent communication skills to summarise project status and discuss critical issues/milestones.
* Hands-on and practical with the ability to solve problems as they arise
* Eager to tackle new challenges
* Experience as Product Owner, SCRUM Master or similar roles – Certifications welcome and beneficial.
* Familiar with agile project management, including SCRUM, Kanban or SAFe beneficial salary: £70k – £100k + Excellent Bens and bonus
Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working considered)
