£38,000 to £43,000 DOEJoin a dynamic company that specializes in delivering rapid and cost-effective solutions for food and farming compliance needs across the nation! We are seeking a dedicated Portal Official Veterinarian to ensure the inspection and certification of animal-origin products from non-European countries.Responsibilities:
• Inspect and sign off on animal-origin products from non-European countries
• Advise food business operators on international trade of products of animal origin (POAO) subject to restrictions
• Carry out administrative tasks and prepare protocols, training documents, and other requested documents
• Provide import certification for POAOsRequirements:
• MRCVS
• Full-time position (32-40 hours per week), with part-time applicants also considered
• Based primarily in Southampton, with occasional travel to Poole
