DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services Team to provide a high quality domestic service to the new Urgent & Emergency Care Department based at Chesterfield Royal HospitalWe couldn’t run our hospital without you and the fantastic work you will do by keeping the Urgent & Emergency Care Department areas clean, tidy, and also by reducing the risk of infections and effectively helping keep our staff well and our patients safe.

Current Positions available are:-

13:00 – 17:00 = 4 hours x 5 days per week 20 hours

07:00 – 13:00 = 5.5 hours x 2 days per week 11 hours

13:00 – 17:00 = 4.0 hours x 2 days per week 8 hours

08:00 – 17:00 = 8.5 hours per day 1 x 25.5 hours over 3 days

08:00 – 17:00 = 8.5 hours per day 1 x 17.0 hours over 2 days

17:00 – 20:00 = 6 hours x Sat & Sun

Main duties of the job

Communicate verbally with the Domestic Working Supervisor and colleagues by phone and through written procedures and Maintain accurate and complete records of all cleaning activities ensuring an effective exchange of information about cleaning tasks and service needsCarry out cleaning duties in designated area of responsibility following thorough schedules and guidelines.Assist with cleaning duties in any area of the organisation as required to support service delivery

Follow all policies and procedures in relation to working within Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Pro-actively support the continued improvement of the Domestic service

Qualifications and Training

Essential criteria
  • •To be able to read and understand to the required standard

  • •Basic education to include Maths and English

Experience
