Job Overview:
Join the dedicated and compassionate team at Oak Springs Care Home, a luxury, purpose-built residential care facility in Wavertree. Oak Springs is committed to delivering the highest standards of care, specializing in residential, respite, and dementia support for older adults. This is a part-time role with a work pattern of 22 hours per week, including alternate weekend working.
Important Note: This role is not suitable for applicants with a 20-hour student visa work restriction or those requiring visa sponsorship.
Your Role as a Care Assistant:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care while promoting their independence, dignity, and individuality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Personalized Care: Assisting residents with daily routines, including personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobility, while respecting their preferences and dignity.
- Fostering Emotional Well-Being: Building meaningful relationships, providing emotional support, and creating a welcoming and comforting atmosphere for residents and their families.
- Encouraging Engagement: Supporting residents in pursuing hobbies, social activities, and sensory engagement tailored to their interests and abilities.
- Maintaining High Standards: Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment while adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and promptly addressing any changes in residents’ needs or concerns.
