Please do not apply if you live outside of theUK, we are not able to accept your application at thistime.As a Charge Nurse atHC-One, you will be overseeing the care of every one of theresidents in your area of the care home. You’ll even run the wholehome when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. And,whether you’re following up on any resident visits related to illhealth, administering prescribed medicines or keeping records tomeet statutory legal requirements, you’ll always have residentwellbeing in mind above anything else.

You will be a Registered Nursewith a valid Pin number and will understand your commitment to yourprofession through the standards of practice set by theNMC.Youwill have a passion to mentor and share your knowledge with yourColleagues, along with providing support as a practice supervisorand assessor to students. You will understand the importance ofeffective communication, both verbally and written, and role modelprofessional behaviours.You will advocate and deliver a person-centredapproach to care for the people living in our care home and theirfamilies.Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it isimportant that you are able to recognise the signs which mayindicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms andknow what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues arerequired to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their roleand to undertake additional training in associated areas. You alsohave the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns,including escalation if action is nottaken.
