Job Description:
Workplace Doctors is recruiting for an NHS Osteopath to join a multidisciplinary team in South London. This position is available on either a 12-month fixed-term or permanent basis. The successful candidate will support patients with musculoskeletal issues using holistic osteopathic methods such as manipulation, massage, and exercise therapy.
Start Date:
Flexible – to be agreed upon with the successful applicant
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed case histories and assess patient posture and physical health
Perform physical examinations using palpation and range of motion assessments
Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with patients
Deliver osteopathic treatments including soft tissue work, release techniques, and cranial osteopathy
Advise patients on posture, lifestyle, diet, and preventive care
Refer patients to other specialists when required
Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation
Skills & Experience Required:
Registered with HCPC or General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) – essential
Experience in osteopathy for back pain, joint pain, injuries, and holistic patient care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt to a varying caseload and prioritise patient needs

IELTS score of 7.5 overall with no less than 7.0 in each module OR OET Grade ‘B’
