What You’ll Be Doing
As a Live-In Carer, you’ll become a vital support system to someone who needs daily help in their own home. You’ll live on-site and provide 1-on-1 care — offering companionship, safety, and dignity. Whether it’s preparing a favorite meal, helping with mobility, or simply being present, your care makes all the difference.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- 24/7 care and companionship within the client’s home
- Help with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with medication and medical reminders
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light housekeeping and errands
- Emotional support and conversation
- Support for clients with Alzheimer’s, stroke recovery, or other complex needs
- Palliative/end-of-life care when required
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate, experienced carers who are confident working independently and building trusting relationships.
You’ll Need:
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (formal or informal)
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Background in hospitals, care homes, or home care preferred
- UK driving license is a bonus, not a must
- Relevant qualifications like Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 are a plus
- Willing to relocate and commit to live-in placements
- Visa sponsorship available (UK & international candidates welcome)
