It’s certainly never boring and we constantly find ourselves pushing the boundaries when it comes to the gameplay that we’re creating and the technologies that we’re engineering.Red Kite are working on a variety of exciting open world AAA games and has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced programmer to strengthen and shape one of our teams.In this role you will help to create, maintain and evangelise our development best practices, collaborating closely with all teams across the studio.Your knowledge and expertise will also be invaluable in supporting projects across a multitude of platforms, genres and game areas.In your new role you will:• Lead a programming team to achieve your project’s requirements• Liaise with other areas of the studio and external partners to facilitate development• Ensure stability of the development environment for the entire development team• Work on a wide variety of projects and tasks• Be responsible for planning your work and the work of others• Mentor Red Kite’s next generation of programmers• Want to work in-studio alongside a very social and close-knit teamTo be successful you will have:• Shipped multiple AAA titles in either a lead or senior role• Excellent C++ programming skills• Demonstrated an ability to solve project-wide development issues• Programmed in a range of game areas• A propensity to make systems and processes better• A keen interest in new technologies – hardware/game enginesIn your new role you will:
