About the role
The Lead Business Process Analyst, who will work within the Engineering Capabilities and Data Team, will establish PLM ‘Ways of Working’ through an in-depth understanding of the tool, and how it integrates with other business tools. The role will also encompass mapping out Data Flow Models and creating the architecture of the end-to-end system, and define opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
The successful candidate will also create cost/effort models to demonstrate save forecasts and benefit realisation. The analyst will maximise the benefits that Ocado will see from the deployment and implementation of PLM. Other responsibilities include leveraging the tool steer Best Practise reviews and exposure additional opportunities; obtaining buy-in from senior stakeholders throughout any project lifecycle; and working collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, and scope project requirements.
About you
The Lead Analyst will have experience working with engineering data, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be commercially minded, and able to put processes and data into context. The analyst will be a team player, with experience fostering a culture that is innovative, motivational, and highly productive. Also, you will have a strong grounding in Engineering and Product Development Processes. Through proactivity, you will identify issues and opportunities before having to be told to do so.
Preferred but not essential
Good working knowledge of six sigma, or black/green belt. Lean six sigma, BPM 2.0, and/or experience in Google Data Studio, BigQuery, advanced spreadsheet use.
