Key Account Manager

Job Details:

This secondary care role covers Cholesterol management and Heart Failure and will be responsible for achieving sales targets and promoting the product(s) to medical practitioners and allied health care professionals.
Key responsibilities:

• Develop business plans and implement related activities like customer events, sales & marketing campaigns, sales presentations necessary to achieve agreed objectives

• Responsible for budget allocated to cover customer activities

• Accountable for achieving agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales

• Provide Key account/hospital network support, market access support, including referral networks

• Maintenance and growth of Key Accounts

• Achieve agreed contact, coverage and frequency targets through various communication channels

• Sales Planning and Reporting – Provide input into effective use of promotional funds and territory sales forecasting

• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives

• Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors

Minimum requirements

Essential requirements:

• Experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with secondary care experience

• UK Pharmaceutical sales experience is essential

• Strong communication and selling skills

• Engaging customer centric approach

• Patient centric outlook

• Collaborative and has proven success with cross functional working
Desirable requirements:

• Pharmaceutical Sales experience in Cholesterol management and Heart Failure in the Merseyside & Cheshire area

• Established network and contacts in Merseyside & Cheshire
