Your day-to-day
- Deliver a seamless onboarding process for our new players as their main point of contact, ensuring they understand our club and values, as well as ensuring all legal and safeguarding responsibilities are met.
- Manage the relocation process for players where required, including organising work permits and visas, and supporting with any admin to support their move to the club.
- Liaise with player Agents regarding player requirements before and after signing of contract, acting as a positive ambassador for the club.
- Provide ongoing support for players during their career with us, ensuring their focus is on their performance at all times.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to schedule all relevant training or workshops for our players, and ensure training records are up to date.
- Build relationships with local estate agents so that our players have a great choice of local properties, being the main point of contact and supporting on any queries that arise.
- Support the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks, including processing player expenses and coordinating ticket requests.
- Attend home match days as the main point of contact for all player guests, acting in a friendly and welcoming manner.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role or the equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience working with high profile individuals and with efficient and proactive management of their related logistical requirements.
- Considerable experience managing multiple stakeholder requirements and administration processes at speed, while maintaining high level of detail.
- Demonstrable experience displaying natural gravitas, diplomacy and professional credibility when dealing with high profile individuals and wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience working with Player Agents and other stakeholders regarding the representation of the Player.
- Evidence of sound experience within a sport administration setting or in a fast paced, customer focused environment; experience of advising and working in partnership with key stakeholders.
- First class IT skills including a strong working knowledge of all Microsoft applications, particularly databases/excel.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of tax / NI implications for foreign players
- Results driven with a customer focused and pragmatic approach.
- Flexible approach to work; committed to developing a positive team ethos.
- Operates with the upmost integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
