We’re hiring internationally qualified midwives who are working toward or have recently obtained their NMC midwifery registration. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care throughout antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal stages
- Plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in partnership with mothers and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver culturally competent and equitable care, considering spiritual and individual needs
- Manage care needs assessments and create care plans in line with midwifery competencies
- Participate in staff rotas, ensuring coverage for absences when in charge
- Assist with in-service training and staff induction programmes
- Support care delivery in hospital or community settings
- Contribute to audits and internal improvement projects
Eligibility Criteria
- IELTS or OET passed and CBT completed
- Registered or in process of registering as a Midwife with NMC
- Understanding of NMC Code (2015) and Midwives Rules and Standards (2012)
- Awareness of public health responsibilities: child protection, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health
- Strong team player with communication and IT skills
- Willing to engage in clinical governance, audit, and professional development
- Knowledge of PREPP and ongoing midwifery practice standards
