In this role you will:
- Own and develop Vortexa’s Development and Levelling Frameworks. You will help ensure our development frameworks have a cohesive one-best way approach that incorporates our values. This will include the design and roll-out of new and updated frameworks and processes across teams globally
- Act as Vortexa’s employment law expert, ensuring current employment law and HR best practice is embedded into all policies and business processes and create and implement new or revised HR processes and policies when required and take ownership of employee relations cases and other areas where HR expertise is required
- Create and develop Vortexa’s People Metrics Dashboard. You will use comprehensive data to derive key insights for the People and Leadership teams
- Support people leaders across all functions and geographies, providing them with day-to-day development and performance management guidance through advice, coaching and mentoring
- Collaborate with a range of internal stakeholder groups within and outside the People team (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Finance) to develop seamless stage-appropriate people frameworks around the employee lifecycle
- Manage visa sponsorship and inter-company employee transfers, including supporting immigration requirements with the assistance of legal counsel
- Demonstrate a passion for diversity & inclusion and providing a welcoming environment for all team members.
- Proactively build external networks, to build your professional knowledge and to bring insight and ideas back to Vortexa
You will ideally have:
- 5 + years’ experience in a HR BP / HR Generalist related role, within a fast-growing tech start up or early stage company
- CIPD Level 5 qualifications or above
- Experience in executing (and ideally designing) performance management, leadership coaching and compensation processes
- Project management skills, with the ability to design and communicate clear processes
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation
- A data-driven approach to decision making and be a pragmatic problem solver who can find root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them
- A strong bias for action and happy to take on varied tasks, “wearing many hats”
