Are you an experienced Business Analyst passionate about digital transformation in public health? NHS England is hiring a Higher Business Analyst to support the development and delivery of our Digital Workplace Services, enhancing productivity, collaboration, and service delivery across the organisation.
This role is pivotal in driving operational improvements and aligning technology with real user needs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to uncover opportunities and craft innovative business solutions across our collaboration services, web team, and corporate IT departments.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate operational challenges and identify process improvements
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable insights for technical teams
- Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Project Managers, and NHS teams
- Support full project lifecycles, from discovery and requirements to implementation and review
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work within rigorous NHS frameworks while maintaining agility and a user-focused approach

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in business analysis within complex environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to map business requirements to technical solutions
- Excellent analytical and judgement skills
- Organisational and project delivery experience
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience
- Awareness of NHS structures and service delivery priorities
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or public sector environment
- Agile or project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum)
Visa Sponsorship & Eligibility
NHS England holds a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence. Candidates who meet the Home Office requirements, including a minimum salary threshold (usually £38,700 per annum or more), will be considered for visa sponsorship.

- A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required
