Salary: UK – £22,726, London & Surrounding Counties – £24,726

Job Introduction
The Directorate operate the National Gambling Helpline across numerous channels which provide information, advice, and support for anyone affected by problem gambling as well as referring people to free treatment across England, Scotland, and Wales. The team also oversee GamCare’s online CBT course, Gamechange, along with being part of an exciting digital transformation where we will see new interventions being delivered remotely.
The Helpline Services Admin Support Officer will be a vital part of the team, ensuring they are supported through administrative support and co-ordination of reporting schedules, as well as liaising across teams internally, arranging and recording meetings, maintaining action logs, and monitoring systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Work within the team to develop and deliver effective administration systems to support the delivery GamCare’s remote support services
- Support managers with organising schedules, taking meeting minutes and booking travel and accommodation
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, handling information, data, and documentation with care. Formatting a range of documents and report types in line with style guides
- Analyse, understand, and communicate information from a range of sources to identify any potential issues and implementations for the team’s administration, recommend solutions or escalating more complex issues as appropriate

The Helpline Services Admin Support Officer is a new opportunity for someone who is organised and enjoys a varied workload. This opportunity will help us become more efficient and enable us to spend more time doing what we do best, creating as much impact with our work as possible. You will need effective communication skills, as you will be working closely with several managers and will need to manage a varied workload.
With demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic organisation, you will have honed your skills in operational support and administration which will have given you the tools to update spreadsheets, populate reports, collate, and report data findings to various targeted audiences.
