Are you a detail-driven legal professional with experience in clinical negligence, EL/PL claims, or healthcare law? Weightmans, a leading national law firm, is hiring a Healthcare Paralegal to support complex legal cases in partnership with NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts.

In this dynamic role, you’ll assist senior fee earners in managing post-litigated healthcare claims, contribute to the delivery of exceptional client outcomes, and even manage your own caseload where appropriate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting senior solicitors with EL/PL and clinical negligence litigation
Drafting instructions to experts, preparing chronologies, tracing witnesses, and handling disclosure
Liaising with barristers and NHS clients
Maintaining client data and internal MI systems
Managing your own fast-track caseload, when applicable
Meeting financial targets, deadlines, and service level KPIs
Complying with internal policies and Weightmans’ core values

About You

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

Prior experience as a Paralegal, ideally in EL/PL or Clinical Negligence
Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and case file management
Strong communication and drafting skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to meeting client KPIs and internal performance targets

Bonus points if you already have experience running your own caseload.
