The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hiring Healthcare Assistants to support patient care in our Emergency Department (ED)—working across areas such as Majors, Minors, Resus, and See & Treat.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of qualified nursing staff
- Assist in clinical duties across ED zones, including triage and trauma areas
- Support both adult and paediatric patients with various conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to care protocols
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Uphold patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times
- Participate in staff development, mandatory training, and trust-wide initiatives
- Assist with improving patient experience through compassionate care
What You’ll Need to Apply
✅ 6+ months of HCA experience (hospital or care setting)
✅ Completed Care Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

✅ Right to work in the UK or eligible for Tier 2 visa sponsorship
