Job Description
The Full Stack Web Application Developer works as part of a Scrum development team on designing, developing, and deploying web applications for Concept’s new Marlin and Marlin SmartPort products. Web applications would be developed using JavaScript and React on the front end connecting to a back end powered by various AWS services.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Successful candidates will have experience in the following areas :
– Full stack development experience in a commercial environment
– JavaScript / React web app development experience in desktop, mobile and tablet
– Experience of hosting and deploying production web solutions in the cloud
– Experience of AWS or similar cloud infrastructure. AWS Services of interest include :
- Amplify, CLI and toolchain
- Lambda
- AppSync
- EC2, S3
- Cognito / Authentication
– Experience in NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB or similar
– Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem-solving and solution development
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
What would really help?
- PostgreSQL or AWS RDS experience
- Knowledge and experience of working within a fast-moving Scrum team
- Linux experience
- Use of Azure DevOps and automated pipelines
- Other skills include GraphQL, REST API, HTML, CSS
