As one of the world’s leading financial groups our client truly has a global footprint covering 50 markets across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. To meet demand, they now have an immediate opening for a Fixed Income Sales Professional.
As a Fixed Income Sales Professional, you will be required to:
- Contact prospective institutions by phone and acquire new clients
- Generate end-to-end sales activity for clients within OTC markets
- Research relevant market activity and monitor financial developments relevant to customer bases, daily
- Maintain effective relationships with clients by phone or face-to-face through regular meetings. Overseas travel may be required
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal Traders regarding client prospects, quotes, and market feasibility
- Regularly use Bloomberg terminal to keep abreast of market movement and IB Chat
- Attend daily morning meetings between London and Singapore to productively discuss key recent market events, ideas, and select client business
- Liaise with Dealing Room Strategists to gain product knowledge, ideas, and research
- Regularly attend internal 1:1 and group training sessions focusing on specific topics such as bonds, yield curves, and optimal usage of the Bloomberg Terminal
- Maintain the CRM
Fixed Income Sales Professional Skills, Traits & Requirements:
- Degree level education
- CISI Capital Markets qualifications (Company sponsorship available)
- 3 + years Financial Services / International Financial Institution experience
- Proven sales success
- Resilience, adaptability, and a competitive nature
- Honesty and integrity
- Strong communication skills
- Bloomberg Terminal
- Fixed Income and Capital Market experience
The successful Fixed Income Sales Professional can expect:
- A base salary circa 80-100
- An uncapped 200k package
