ERP Systems Lead – Purchasing (Temporary – 24 months contract)
This is a hybrid role which requires regular presence at our Bar Hill site.

In this critical temporary role, you will be responsible for optimizing our purchasing and operational new product development processes through the effective management and implementation of our ERP system, focusing specifically on the purchasing module. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact our manufacturing operations, ensuring the ERP system enhances organizational efficiency and supports strategic procurement objectives over the course of 24 months.

  • Lead the enhancement and management of the ERP system’s purchasing module.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align ERP functionality with business goals and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage system upgrades and configurations to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for ERP system users.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of data within the ERP system.
  • Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

About you
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP systems, particularly with a focus on purchasing or supply chain modules.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and strategies, including vendor management, procurement, and inventory control.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at various levels of technical proficiency.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in ERP systems, particularly in the purchasing module.
  • Experience with ERP system implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to purchasing.
