Job Overview:
We are seeking an Enhanced Care Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and support to patients. This role requires a high standard of clinical competency and experience working with patients who have healthcare needs, including those with behaviors that challenge.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Level 2 in numeracy and literacy (or equivalent).
- Completed Care Certificate accredited by e-learning for healthcare, with evidence of both theory and all practical elements (e-learning only is not accepted).
- Plus one of the following: a Vocational Level 3 qualification in a Health-related subject (regulated by OFQUAL), or evidence of core clinical skills competency (for new hires), or a completed Band 2 competency booklet (for existing Mid Yorkshire staff).
- Experience:
- Experience working in a Health and Social Care setting.
- Experience working with patients requiring healthcare and those with behaviors that challenge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management, with the ability to work flexibly, quickly, and accurately.

Work Permissions (Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship):
This role is on the Immigration Salary List for Skilled Worker visas. However, successful candidates seeking sponsorship must be eligible to be paid at the top of the pay band (£26,598) to meet the salary threshold set by the Home Office.
To meet this higher salary requirement for sponsorship, you must demonstrate a minimum of two years’ experience fulfilling the clinical skills undertaken by this role within your application and throughout the recruitment process.
