Job summary
An exciting 6 month secondment opportunity has arisen within the department of Endoscopy at Hull Royal Infirmary we are currently recruiting for an Endoscopy senior Manager Band 7.
The successful candidate will be involved in the leadership and development of a rapidly changing service within our brand new, purpose built unit for Endoscopy & Digestive diseases working alongside specialties such as IBD, Gastroenterology Day unit, Research and Yorkshire school of Endoscopy.
As leader the individual will be able to support the team as we transition into a new department with a wealth of benefits from expert training, national courses supplied by the Yorkshire School of Endoscopy and widespread opportunities available
Main duties of the job
To succeed you must be a registered nurse with significant post-qualification clinical experience of managing patients, resources and leading others.
You must also have significant experience of working at a senior nursing level, Endoscopy experience would be desirable. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a passion, commitment and previous success in implementing change.
The successful candidate will demonstrate effective leadership skills and an ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure. The successful candidate must demonstrate an aptitude for working independently and an ability to prioritise work commitments where necessary.
