Job Details:
Great opportunity for a well established Employee Relations Manager to join this growing, forward thinking, commercial organisation.This role will oversee and guide the business on Employee Relations issues determining policy and process, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing investigations, complex attendance, performance and conduct cases, disciplinary actions etc. It will also support and advise on complex restructuring and business changes.
- You will act as an internal advisor, subject matter expert and coach to provide solutions and analysis
- Coach and advise managers at all levels
- Undertake risk analysis and maintain legal compliance / best practise
- Directly run complex investigations concerning harassment, workplace violence, discrimination and any other inappropriate behaviour or misconduct in the workplace.
- Ensure management and maintenance of all supporting investigation notes, statements and documentation
- Review themes and trends across all issues to ensure appropriate practices
- Work with other stakeholders (Business Partners, Legal, External Counsel, Learning and Development) to create materials guides
- Identify stakeholders needed to accomplish initiatives and to work collaboratively with
- Responsibility for UK Visa and sponsorship process and approvals.
- Support and advise on complex restructuring and business change as required
- Travel as needed
You will need the following experience:-
- CIPD Qualified
- 8 years business facing human resources experience in various disciplines, but generalist experience preferred in a population of 500+ employees
- Coaching, influencing and negotiation skills across all levels of business stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures and in employment law
- Previous direct or indirect leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge of human resource legislation and employment laws
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- History of managing change and advising business stakeholders through ER implications of change, including experience of TUPE and consultations
- Experience of working in an international environment is highly desirable with knowledge of employee relations and employment law for APAC, South Africa and Dubai preferred
