About the Role

As a Data Science Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals and work on meaningful projects that include:

Data Engineering: Building and optimizing data pipelines
Analytics & Data Science: Extracting insights from structured and unstructured data using scientific methods and algorithms
Data Innovation: Exploring cutting-edge tools like AI and ML to solve business challenges
Data Operations: Supporting the lifecycle of deployed AI/ML models

This internship is part of our broader data domain strategy—covering diverse use cases across National Grid’s operations. It’s a hands-on opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow within a world-class energy organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Currently studying towards a Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar quantitative degree
On track to achieve a 2:1 or higher
Eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the internship (visa sponsorship considered if required)
Flexible to travel to Warwick for assessments or collaborative work
Passion for data, technology, and innovation in energy
