About the role
Imagine yourself at the heart of the University of Sussex Business School’s Communications Team, where your creativity and strategic thinking will shape our digital presence. As a Content Officer, you’ll be the go-to expert for crafting compelling content that engages a diverse audience, from prospective students to industry partners.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Business School Marcomms group, central University comms teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring our web content is engaging and search engine friendly. You’ll make sure our web pages work in tandem with high-quality digital and social media campaigns. Your role will involve writing captivating news articles, blogs, and feature stories, as well as designing eye-catching webpage content.
In this dynamic environment, you’ll manage multiple projects, proactively identifying and developing stories that resonate globally with our Business School audiences. Your insights will help us stay ahead of digital engagement trends, and your work will directly contribute to enhancing our brand and online presence.

Your experience in web content management, HTML, and SEO is complemented by your ability to write captivating copy for diverse audiences.
