We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly Paediatric Team caring for babies, children and young people aged 0-16 years.

Services for paediatrics include an assessment and observation unit with Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners, an expanding Children’s Community Nursing Team and a High Dependency Unit on the inpatient ward. Current service developments include Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit, Level one oncology, Best practice Diabetes service and Cystic Fibrosis.

This is a band 6 post and extensive experience at band 5 level is essential. You will be required to be forward thinking and flexible in your approach and be proactive to improve the hospital experience for babies, children and their families. You will be expected to co-ordinate the ward area both in the presence and absence of the ward managers and you will have non-clinical duties in addition to your clinical role. Annualised hours and flexible working hours are available with this post.
