Skills Provision is searching for an experienced CNC Machinist for a company in the United Kingdom.
The employing company is part of a global group, with specialist material manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, Brazil, and China.
This diverse organisation specialises in the manufacture of composite and polymer components, suppling into the aerospace, defence, industrial, medical and automotive markets.
This position offers Visa Sponsorship if required.

The RoleAs the CNC Setter/Machinist daily duties will include:Set and run all CNC Mills/Lathes and manual machines in the section
Ensure all tooling programs are available at the start of productions
Program a full range of products including composites
Tool grinding where requiredInspect work undertaken in line with quality standards
Follow company guidance on non-conforming products
Adhere to all company policies and guidelines
Work to ISO9000, AS9100, TS16949 and SC21 standards
RequirementsA minimum of 3 years of previous experience
A formal qualification/apprenticeship in CNC would be preferred
Previous experience working in an accredited engineering environment
Experience with CNC lathes with FANUC controls
Knowledgeable of Heidenhain controls
FANUC control programming experience
Experience in live tool programming is desirableWork as part of a team
Positive and hard-working attitude
Excellent time-keeping skills
