About the Role

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a compassionate and proactive Clinical Support Worker to join the team on DME Ward 21. In this role, you’ll assist registered nurses and multidisciplinary professionals in delivering hands-on care and executing patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personal care including bathing, toileting, feeding, and end-of-life care.
Record basic patient measurements such as height and weight.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

Level 2 qualification in Care or equivalent experience (or willingness to complete within 18 months).
Commitment to complete the Care Certificate upon joining, if not already held.
Willingness to undergo all mandatory training and clinical competencies.
Ability to recognize limitations and seek appropriate support.
Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated team player.

Desirable Attributes

Previous experience working in a clinical or NHS setting.
Completed Care Certificate.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
