Strong Group are currently working with an established & respected freight organisation in the Greater London area who are actively searching for an experienced & enthusiastic Client manager & internal sales to Join their London Branch.- Location : Greater London – Title: Client manager & internal sales
–40 Hours Per Week -Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm
– Hybrid Role (2 days WFH) -Salery: £25,000-£40,000 (DOE)
Our client is a market leader in the UK, EU, Asia & USA for logistics solutions. Trading for over 30 years were they have been offering specialist bespoke solutions to the international freight forwarding industry.
Client manager & internal sales Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads and initiate cold calls to prospective customers.
- Pipeline Development: Nurture leads and convert them into loyal customers through various channels, including phone calls and virtual meetings (Teams, etc.).
- Relationship Building Establish and cultivate relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Assisting the Business Development Manager with onboarding
- Client Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs of clients and effectively respond with tailored solutions to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s services and be a knowledgeable resource for informing and advising others about these services.
Client manager & internal sales Experience Required
- A minimum of 1 year of sales experience, with a strong preference for experience within the Freight Forwarding sector.
- Comprehensive experience in road, sea, and air freight sales.
- Experience in order fulfilment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated and Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: understanding of the freight and logistics industry is advantageous.
