We are a modern, 66-bed nursing home offering outstanding facilities and specializing in nursing, palliative, and dementia care.
Important Note: This role is not suitable for applicants with a 20-hour student visa work restriction or those requiring visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities as a Day Care Practitioner:
- Assist residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Promote resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with team members.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Package and Benefits:

- Day shift contracts are available for either 3 days (33 hours) or 4 days (44 hours) per week.
