Job Description
Key Responsibilities As a Care Assistant at Home Instead: You will provide essential support to our clients within the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities as a care assistant include:
- Providing care and emotional support
- Promoting independence
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting medication administration
- Meal preparation
- Home support tasks
- Offering dementia & Alzheimer’s support
Qualifications
Prior care experience is advantageous for our clients but not mandatory. Individuals with backgrounds in nursing homes, hospitals, community support, or care homes are well-suited for these roles. A valid driver’s license and access to a suitable car with business insurance are essential. Any
qualifications
in Health and Social Care are beneficial. Employees will receive all employment benefits afforded to domestic workers, including but not limited to holiday pay and statutory sick pay.
