About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support service users in maintaining independence and dignity by assisting with daily activities such as:

Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Emotional support and companionship
Mobility and physical support
Medication reminders and light household tasks
Social engagement and community activities

You’ll work collaboratively with nursing staff, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid DBS Certificate (issued within the last 12 months; ideally on the Update Service)
Minimum 6 months experience in a UK care setting
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Willingness to provide personal care
Flexibility to work various shifts (mornings, evenings, nights)
