Job Description

The position is with reference to the Business Unit and holds the responsibility for

  • Leads species-related Marketing, Technical and Sales employees in the implementation of the BU plan and the generation of revenues up to and exceeding target.
  • Building and leading a high performing team. Coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential and creating Future Business Leaders.
  • Is an acknowledged people leader within and outside of their reporting line. Is a highly effective communicator who leads by example and lead the transformation our Ways of working.
  • Drive the aligned global business unit strategy for the UK which includes the future Animal Health Technology business.
  • Liaises with all BU customers to ensure mutual business success and constantly maintains high customer-centricity
  • Is experienced in working with and influencing business partners in the matrix environment. Is knowledgeable and practiced in all aspects of commercial planning, pricing, marketing and implementation across the total business. Is experienced in budget setting and management.
  • Is adept and agile in a complex business, regulatory and leadership environment, able to make rapid yet balanced decisions on key business issues.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Broad experience in the industry in a senior line leadership position with substantial experience of working in a highly-matrixed network and in a role with significant P&L responsibility. However this need not necessarily be spent entirely within AH.
  • Demonstrated experience and competence in both sales and marketing disciplines
  • Proven leading leaders skills, developing and guiding a high performing team
  • Ability to influence and manage in a matrix organization and across differing business, cultural and regulatory environments
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and a change agent within the company
  • Proven track-record in adherence to Company compliance policies and procedures
  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
