We make AMAZING cakes, cookies, brownies, quiches, tarts & tortillas with a super high quality, homecooked feel. We supply baked goods to some of London’s best cafes & delis with our delicious handmade products. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn all the techniques that make our cakes so well regarded.

We are on the search for a hard working & self motivated individual to join our friendly team as a Baker in a full time capacity. Working from Sunday through to Thursday, Start time from 7am (Sundays start later), finishing when orders are completed, averaging a 40hr working week.

We have an awesome working environment which is hardworking and friendly where everyone works together and helps out. We’re very very proud of it being an environment people like coming to work for and stay a long time with us.

The interview will be a paid days work to see how you do, and all going well you’ll be made an offer.

You must have at least 6 months experience of baking in a commercial kitchen environment and have both a good grasp of written and spoken English.

WE ARE CURRENTLY APPLYING FOR A VISA LICENSE SO WILL BE ABLE TO EXTEND EXISTING VISAS IF REQUIRED

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
– Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
– Operate baking equipment, such as mixers & ovens
– Monitor baking process to ensure proper timing and temperature
– Packing and organising finished cakes
– Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
– Washing up, cleaning & maintaining to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
– Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules

Skills:
– Culinary skills: Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
– Food production: Ability to produce large quantities of baked goods efficiently
– Kitchen experience: Familiarity with working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
– Cooking and baking skills: Proficiency in cooking and baking a variety of dishes
– Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
– Food preparation: Ability to prepare ingredients and follow recipes accurately
