An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for dedicated Theatre Clinical & Quality Lead to work in an outstanding private hospital based in the Marylebone, London area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is a renowned private hospital in the heart of London, dedicated to providing world-class medical services with a commitment to patient care and well-being **To be considered for this position you must be a qualified Surgical First Assistant (SFA) OR ideal candidate should be a registered healthcare professional with a background in surgery or a related field, ensuring they have a strong clinical foundation** As the Theatre Clinical & Quality Lead your key responsibilities include:
- Utilise your clinical expertise to provide hands-on clinical support to the theatre team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during surgical procedures
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality improvement, and governance within the Theatre Department, constituting 50% of your role
- Collaborate closely with our theatre team to cultivate a culture of excellence, teamwork, and efficiency
- Deputise for the Theatre Manager, ensuring the seamless continuation of theatre services and maintaining our commitment to high standards of safety and quality
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Extensive experience working within a theatre or surgical setting, with a proven track record of providing exceptional clinical support during surgical procedures
- A history of leading quality improvement initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing patient safety and care outcomes
- Experience in leadership or supervisory roles, preferably within a theatre environment, showcasing their ability to guide and inspire teams
- Should be adaptable and open to change, especially when implementing new quality and safety protocols
The successful Theatre Clinical & Quality Lead will receive an excellent salary of £54,000 – £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working through early and late shifts.
