We are delighted to present a unique opportunity for a skilled and forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed team at a specialized school in South East England.

About the Role:

  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time- 35 days per week
  • Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time plus up to 3 weeks during school closure periods, flexibly used throughout the year)
  • Holiday: 10 weeks paid holiday
  • Salary: £34,347 to £37,821 per annum (dependent on experience, pay award pending)
  • Location: South East England
  • VISA SPONSORSHIP: Available if needed

About The School: It is a non-maintained day and residential school catering to pupils aged between 4 – 11 years. The focus is on individuals with severe and complex Speech and/or Language Disorders, including high-functioning ASD, some of whom may also present with associated learning and/or behavioural difficulties.

Role Overview: As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualised intervention programs for a defined caseload.

Requirements:

  • Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree or equivalent
  • Registered member of Health and Care Professions Council
  • Minimum 2 years experience in working with a paediatric caseload, ideally with severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs
