£36,000 to £42,000

(Permanent)Join a leading manufacturing company in Birstall as a Production Manager. This is a newly created role where the right individual will impact the business’s growth.THE ROLE:
– Managing a team of eleven, you will oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure enough resources are available.
– Deliver industrial system projects from initiation to completion.
– Work with operations and finance to implement structure, processes, policies and manage the production department.
– Monitor productivity rates, standards and quality control.
– Implement improvements to the product process.
– Estimating costs, preparing budgets and monthly reports for management meetings.
– Management of Systems Projects.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– 3+ years of similar experience within a manufacturing company.
– Project management experience.
– Experience with Lean and CI methodologies.
– Strong organisational skills.
– Strong leadership skills.SALARY & BENEFITS:
– £36,000 with on-target earnings of £42,000.
