The Opportunity
To support current manufacturing for joining system technologies. Ensure process capability through joining parameters and processes to ensure engineering specifications are achieved.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
• Lead a team to ensure quality assessment and validation procedures are delivered
• Contribute to the concept development process, support the launch of new product into current manufacturing
• Support in the testing and confirmation of any changes to process inputs
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders and the supplier base to ensure the team deliver project objectives
• Driving and improvement current quality output of joining through testing, innovation and shared learning with the design teams
• Lead, monitor and track resolution to all problems and issue to ensure improvements are achieved
• Lead issues influencing delivery to resolution with the maintenance department
• Provide technical guidance to the team on the appropriate cause of action in resolving complex logistics problems
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
• Previous experience in Joining Systems in Engineering
• Leadership experience
• Background or experience in the Engineering and Concept Development
• Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
Desirable:
• Ability to analyse and break down complex problems or processes into its key elements to
achieve common goals
