Job summary:
Our Finance Team is an integral part of our Operations Department, supporting the entire organisation from invoicing to payroll.
You will be a part of a small and supportive immediate team, which forms part of our 32 strong Global Operations Department. You will lead 2 Junior team members of the team and report directly to the Head of Finance.
In this role you can expect to:
Manage the day-to-day finance operations;
- Mentoring 2 junior team members
- Overviewing Payroll/AP/AR/Bank
- Being responsible for accounts reconciliation and consolidation
- Implement / improve processes, in order to become an efficient team
Prepare the Reporting & Analysis;
- Producing the group management reports
- Reporting on variance analysis (forecast vs actuals)
- Managing the Cash flow, with scenario analysis
- Ad hoc projects / analysis
Own Statutory Accounts & Compliance;
- Leading the yearly audit – Setting the right processes and controls in advance
- Meeting the tax (VAT, R&D, transfer pricing, etc.) requirements and deadlines
- Being proactive so all compliance matters are in order
Support Strategic projects;
- By spreading financial knowledge across the organisation, facilitating better decision making
- Working closely with the Head of Finance on forecasting, budgeting and other value added projects
- Help implementing and managing the employee options scheme program

Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a Finance department, preferably in a startup / tech environment
- An eagerness to learn and go the extra mile
- Excellence in multitasking and handling different projects simultaneously
- Ideally degree qualified from a business / numerical background, although this is not essential
